Content Policy
Acceptable use guidelines, content standards, and intellectual property procedures for Beauloom.
Acceptable Use Policy
This policy applies to all content submitted to Beauloom, including profile information, service listings, photos, reviews, messages, and portfolio items. By using Beauloom, you agree to comply with these guidelines.
1. Prohibited Content
You may not post, upload, or transmit content that:
- Is false, misleading, or deceptive (including fake reviews or inflated credentials)
- Infringes any copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property right
- Contains sexually explicit material, nudity, or pornography
- Promotes violence, hatred, or discrimination against any individual or group
- Contains personal information of others without their consent (doxxing)
- Constitutes spam, unsolicited advertising, or commercial solicitation
- Contains malware, viruses, or malicious code
- Impersonates another person or entity
- Makes medical claims about beauty services (e.g., claims to "cure" or "treat" conditions)
- Attempts to circumvent platform safety features, including contact-information blocking
- Violates any applicable law or regulation
2. Service Listing Standards
Accurate Descriptions
- Service descriptions must accurately reflect what the client will receive
- Pricing must be honest and transparent — no hidden fees
- Photos must be your own original work or properly licensed
- Before/after photos must not be digitally altered to misrepresent results
Professional Claims
- Only claim credentials, certifications, or licenses that you currently hold
- Do not make medical or health claims about cosmetic services
- Do not guarantee specific results — individual outcomes may vary
3. Review Guidelines
Writing Reviews
- Reviews must be based on a genuine experience with the professional
- Reviews can only be submitted for completed bookings
- Be honest and constructive in your feedback
- Do not include personal contact information in reviews
- Do not use reviews to harass, threaten, or discriminate
Review Removal
Beauloom may remove reviews that violate this policy. We do not remove negative reviews simply because a professional disagrees with the rating. Reviews may be removed if they:
- Contain prohibited content as defined above
- Are not based on a genuine completed booking
- Appear to be fake, incentivized, or retaliatory
- Contain personal identifying information
To report a review, contact support@beauloom.app with the review details and reason for the report.
4. Messaging Rules
To protect all users, our messaging system automatically blocks sharing of:
- Phone numbers
- Email addresses
- Website URLs
This policy exists to keep transactions on-platform for your safety and protection. Attempting to circumvent contact-information blocking (e.g., spelling out numbers, using obfuscated formats) is a violation of this policy.
5. Copyright & Intellectual Property (DMCA)
Beauloom respects intellectual property rights and complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). If you believe your copyrighted work has been used on our platform without authorization, you may submit a takedown notice.
Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice
Your notice must include:
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed
- Identification of the material on our platform that you claim is infringing, with enough detail for us to locate it
- Your contact information (name, address, phone number, email)
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf
- Your physical or electronic signature
Counter-Notice
If your content was removed due to a DMCA notice and you believe the removal was in error, you may submit a counter-notice including:
- Identification of the material that was removed
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed by mistake
- Your name, address, and phone number
- Consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district
- Your physical or electronic signature

Repeat infringers will have their accounts terminated in accordance with DMCA requirements.
6. Enforcement
Violations of this Content Policy may result in:
- Content removal: Offending content removed without notice
- Warning: Account flagged with explanation of the violation
- Temporary suspension: Account restricted for a period
- Permanent termination: Account permanently closed for severe or repeated violations
We reserve the right to remove any content at our sole discretion. Decisions may be appealed by contacting support@beauloom.app.

If you encounter content that violates this policy, please report it to:
